Hello everyone,
Welcome to my site. I am turning to the worldwide web for help, having
exausted all avenues I could think of. I am seeking details relating to my
Father-in-law's grandfather. Here is what I have, but as you will see it's
very linited indeed:
Henry S. Mullins is believed to be of Irish origins. He may also have
been known as Christopher William Mullins, and in 1901 he fathered a child
by the name of George Emmanuel Mullins in Cannanore, Kerala, India. The
name of Henry S. Mullins'
partner was Karimbil Thumbai. Ms. Thumbai subsequently provided George
Emmanuel Mullins with two step brothers, each of whom had different
fathers. The names of her other two Sons was Tommy Dodds (Civil Engineer)
and Karambil Sumathi (Appraiser in Customs).
George was the Father of my Father-in-law, James Leonard Mullins, who
grew up in Cannanore. Henry S. Mullins is believed to have been a British
Army doctor. We are trying to find out more and would like to know where
he is interred.
The details we do have were obtained from Cannanore Municipality office
and Holy Trinity Church (RC), Cannanore Cantonment. George went to St.
Michael's European Boys' School in Cannanore, and their record
corroborated the information we had obtained earlier.
THIS IS AN UNSOLVED MYSTERY TO WHICH THERE IS, I AM CONVINCED, A KEY
OUT THERE SOMEWHERE TO UNLOCK IT. IT WILL MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO MY
FATHER-IN-LAW'S LIFE
